Ankle Weights

    I was thinking, and I realized that I had a couple of 2 pound ankle weights in my basement. Do you think that if I wore them while practicing tennis, that it would help improve my footspeed?

    yes it will of course help your foot speed. but it is bad for your angles on the long run. i wouldn't use ankles weights, if you wanna be fast, jog up hill or on an incline running machine. that helps more.

    Do not use them for running, jumping or even for walking. They are best used for leg raises or other leg exercises. There have been several threads in the past on the dangers of ankle weights -- try a Search.
