i recently purchased a gamma x-st stringing machine. i have come across a used 6 pt suspension mounting system turntable from a 6004, about 9 months old. is it possible to use the turntable with my machine, and can i use my existing clamp bases, or would i need to buy the cam action bases?

    thanks

You would be able to use the 6pt suspension mounting on the X-ST. you'd just have to unbolt the 4 screws in the center of the TT. You would be able to swap your existing base clamps over too. Just undo the 17mm nut underneath and switch them over, the thickness of the glide bar on the both TTs are the same. Make any/all adjustment with the 17mm nut.

FYI-New "Quick Action" clamps are $59 ea and "Switch Action" are $199 ea.
