My Gamma prog. 2 broke. One of the two metal strips inside the crank just fell out. I've only done seven... SEVEN jobs on it, and in the middle of the eighth the strip fell out as I was pulling tension on the mains. What do I do?

Call the retailer that sold you the machine? If the machine is newish, the retailer should fix it.

Or shoot an email to GammaTech.

is it the sand paper like strips? You could always try skateboard griptape, very adhesive and the grit should last, could work.

I would not try to fix it myself. You could cause problems that snowball into bigger problems and then Gamma may void your warranty (worst case scenario.) Get a box and send only the crank back to TW or Gamma. You don't need all the great packing just use newspaper.

If you want to post pictures. Set up a photobucket.com account and post your picture there. Then it is a simple matter of copying the URL of the picture on the hosting site and pasting the URL here like this [IMG] just leave out the spaces. Or you can use the icon that has the mountain view and it is easier. Or you can just paste in the URL and the picture will open when selected.

Call Gamma directly. They are very easy to deal with. Explain the problem. They will probably ask for a picture of the defective part. Also have the serial number of your machine handy.

My experience has always been to call rather than to email. Emails can drop into a giant void. Calls get taken care of right away.
