I noticed at my local sporting store that they're clearing these out for $59.99 Cdn.

Can anyone comment on how it plays and what type of player it's suited for? This is the one that's 97 square inches and has a more open string pattern than the standard one.

I currently play with a ProStaff Classic 6.1 and am looking for a little more forgiveness as I'm getting older and my game is starting to go south... :D

It plays quite well. I only have one left, and I've already sanded it down and painted it all black, but I love the way it plays. It plays a little differently now that it's painted, but I like the way it played before too.

Thats a great deal. The racquet is very solid, and plays well from everywhere on the court in my opinion. I am sure someone else here can give you a detailed review.

If you're talking about the 27 in version and not the 27.5 type then this thread might be useful:

    Bottome line for me:

    good frame

    easy to move around

    good spin

nice size sweet spot (located mid to high on the stringbed)

hits a quick ball not a heavy ball

    probably needs some lead

The 2006/27in? I didn't really care for it. The stiffness is underrated, 67 I think, and the quoted swingweight seems a little low; more like 312? Mine was also hard to sell.
