wondering what everyone's opinion on this person is. has repeatedly yanked me around about buying racquets. everything is a lowball. wants free strings, me to recap a prestige at no cost. free labor. can i restring it free. more "finds a frame" or says he's using something else. then a day or two later has sold the frames or got a deal on another and wants one super cheap. i know he was under xxxazn4life88xxx@aim.com and i think he's under genesisturbo and possibly other usernames. wanted to know if anyone has some info on him. used the search. came up with very little but not much good info . gut feeling is he's trying to pull something and i don't want to be ripped off from him .

There are several red flags here.

Either he is trolling or he is extremely unreasonable. Both of these things are not good at all.

I read your previous ads, and you appear to be direct. Unless specifically stated, you shouldn't do special circumstances with other buyers unless you have did previous transactions with them. Also, I would stop responding after 2-3 e-mails. A lot of folks window shop on here and it gets annoying when they waste your time.

Your answer is within your post. If you are getting a bad feeling and you feel like he is jerking you around, find another buyer.

He has mixed reviews in the past, some good, some bad and has been banned previously (for having multiple accounts?)

Trust your instincts. Find another buyer.

thanks. you're just confirming my gut feeling. i'm in no way perfect. had a damanged package sent back and then resent but was all over the place with timely communication. but ever since that (buyer got what he wanted, was very happy with transaction as well as free stuff) i've made it so i let people know when i will be able to ship and am very specific about information. i've only had good transactions and quick communication with buyers. this guy seems to try to get a lot of stuff for free and then never go through with the deal

I had a successful trade with him a while back, almost a year now. It was a good trade, but I did exchange many, many, e-mails getting a reasonable price without any side exchanges. Just throwing in my 2 cents. I would agree with Overdrive that he's not the most reasonable of people. Certainly not dishonest or malicious, though.

Here is another of his email accounts: lofisimon@gmail.com

He's been asking for free stuff, "do you have this, do you have that..." "Can you gove me free strings.." Annoying and never ending. I made a mistake of sending him two sets of Tour Bite cut form the reel that got bent somehow sitting tangled in a bag. He just won't stop bothering me about why are they bent and if I am lying to him that strings have been previously used... I gave them to him for free and paid $5.80 for shipping!
    The guy is super annoying!

He is very annoying. Every time I sell anything, he asks if ill take like half of what I'm asking and then offers me obscure items like grips to trade for racquets. He also asks if I know anyone interested in his stuff. Super annoying!!!

yes, I've had to deal with him lately. Asked for pics, negotiated and then tells me at the end that he wants a trade.
Also repeatedly asks if I know anyone who wants his racquets! Basically asking me to sell his racquet... I'm just going to ignore him

I dealt with him a couple months back. Very persistent and sent multiple emails asking the same question (very annoying). After reading the comments about him and his past dealings, I squashed the transaction.

I posted a couple of frames for sale and then had a change of heart soon after, but he kept emailing me. First asked if I'd be interested in frames, then asked if anyone else I knew would like them. Glad I didn't bother selling the frames. Next time I'll ask for a person's username before any sales transaction occurs.

He emailed me several times for my frames for sale. We never came close to a deal because his offers was just way too low.

I have mixed feelings. Yes he is super annoying, changing rackets constantly and wanting to trade his for yours, offering lowball offers and wanting you to trade for strings. Also wants me to sell his stuff for him. Very annoying, but at the end of it, had a good trade and ended up with 2 good rackets.

I don't think he's a bad KID but he's definitely young in the way he acts. I think it's fair to say he's consistent with everyone.

Simon "Hi, I saw your ad and I'm interested in your racquet(s). I know you asked for $200 but would you take $160 shipped?"

Seller: "$160 is a lot lower than my asking price, how about $180 shipped?"

Simon: "Ok that sounds good. By the way, I have two Head IG Radical Pros that are in 9/10 condition I'd like to trade if you're interested."

Seller: "No thanks! I'd just like to sell."

Simon: "Ok, I can't buy right now but can trade. I'm attaching pics. They're in really great shape."

Seller: "Again, I don't want to trade. Thanks for looking anyway."

Simon: "Well if you know of anyone that wants to buy or trade for two 9/10 IG Radical Pros send them my way."

    Seller: "..."

I recently tried to do a string trade with this guy Simon Mei. After countless emails we finally agreed. I printed the shipping label and had the package ready to mail. I gave him tracking info and asked for the same. Said he'd mail tomorrow. He then writes me few a few hours later saying he wants to call the deal off and subsequently tries to sell me strings instead. Glad I never mailed him any strings. He's very indecisive in his business dealings. I'd stay far away. Not worth the time in my opinion. Be warned!

I dealt with Simon recently and had good dealings. Traded sticks with him, the racquet arrived as described and he included a set of strings with it. He keeps in contact through email well and followed up with me to make sure the racquet was working out okay. He does ask if you're interested in other racquets, but he isn't pushy about it or anything.

I would never do business with this guy. He(?) sent me an unprompted email solicitation ad with stuff he wants to sell. I have no idea who he is and have never contacted him for any reason. Very uncool to use a member's contact info for purposes of unprompted and unwanted solicitation ads!

He contacted me via e-mail to sell racquets that I did not ask for...pressed a little saying that they were rare and whatnot. It was a little annoying, but he seems like a pretty harmless guy I guess. Just ignore him if you don't want to purchase his racquets and you'll be just fine :)

He just be warming back up. I got an email from him two weeks ago. Completely out of the blue asking if I had any Nike shoes for sale. Idk why he would assume that unless he's hawking my posts in Clothing/Shoes. I happened to tell him about some new Lunar Ballistecs I have (didn't advertise on TT so didn't break any rules). I named a price of $90 for the black/pink limited edition pair from last year's US Open. I was told $50 is a more fair price. LOL!

I told him I was no longer interested buyer and received 3 more emails over the next two weeks asking if I were still interested and what price would respark my interest.

So if anyone needs a heavily used 6.1 95S for the price of a new one...

Same. Said he had two PAT's in perfect condition(unlikely) and emailed me out of the blue. I had never talked to him through email or TT, and he just started asking for offers....wierd.

he's a TT version of the revenant, that or a door to door salesman of tennis goods you didn't know you wanted to buy.(some of it may be your stuff you didn't even know you were going to sell )

Similar interactions with him to what has already been mentioned. Emailed me out of the blue, he wanted to trade, I didn't want to trade or even show interest in what he had, tried to get me to sell his stuff. Might not be trying to rip people off but is definitely pushy and isn't someone I would trust.

He emailed about the missing holograms on my Aeropro Drive GT 2013 and I thought he meant the authenticity label which is clearly shown on the inside throat. He kept insisting it's on the outside throat where the paint Aeropro Drive graphic is "on the side where it saids aeropro drive, the lettering is worn off (hologram material)". After 3-4 emails, I had enough and ignored him.
