Anyone heard anything?
IG Extreme 2.0 will not be updated 2014. It will be same as 2013
Thanks Hank, I will enjoy the EP 2.0 and not worry about having to try the next generation for awhile. It will be hard to beat this version anyway.
I think Head could really do some wonders if they offered one version of the next Extreme in a much softer flex, like 60-63 range.
It would keep the huge sweet spot and nice aerodynamics, but offer lower power for players with long loopy swings. Also more comfort for those who struggle with a full poly on some of those stiffer racquets.
The specs on the Pro already gravitate toward the "player's" end of the spectrum, especially the 11.8oz weight. So keep the MP as is and make the Pro a 62 stiffness, which I think would really appeal to a good chunk of players.
If they're consistent, they'll probably add an Extreme Rev to the lineup, which will be lighter for customizing, and have a lower RA stiffness rating.
I think they need to bring down the mp weight to 11.2 oz with a 318 SW to combat the APD. The pro should be left as is. If you don't like the flex, get a radical.
The Radicals don't have the nice round 100" head, which looks weird at first but plays real nice. The Radicals are lighter too.
Hmmmmm....that could be very interesting if they do this.
^^^ Well, they've got the Graphene Instinct Rev, the G Speed Rev, the upcoming G Prestige Rev Pro ( the mid )...is there a Graphene Radical Rev coming as well? Can't recall.
So it wouldn't be surprising for there to be an G Extreme Rev in development.
Yes there is.
Same mold as other G Radicals but 260g unstrung with a 340mm balance.
