Any one from Asia and Australia watching the French Open now?

I just noticed for the last 2 days, that the live cable feed for the French Open (I think it is from an Australian Network as Wally Masur is the main commentator) is not showing any matches from the main showcourt (Court Philippe Chatrier), but rather only from second showcourt (Court Suzanne Lenglen). I do not know what is going on as this is the first time I have encountered this.
Has anyone experienced the same problem? I am residing in Singapore, but I suspect other tennis fans from Australia and Asia may be suffering from the same fate. :(

Thanks Lukhas; I will try your link this evening although I am unsure if tennis fans from Asia will be able to access the site.
    Thanks so much!

I am from India. We are getting two channels so you may have to subscribe to the second one.

We are getting FO on Neo Sports and Neo Prime. PC is coming on Neo Prime and SL is on Neo Sports so I had to subscribe to that. In my case, I am getting a ticker at the bottom of the screen mentioning the channels.

Thanks Senti! Problem is this is the first time I have encountered this, I have never had any previous issues with the local cable company Starhub.
Guess we need deeper pockets to watch tennis in the near future! :(

I don't know but there is big CINEMA SCOPE on both neo prime and neo sports which is really annoying.:)

I don't know how things are in Singapore but India is a cricket crazy country and now (last few months) these big corporates have begun sponsoring minor **** like Ranji Trophy etc (local/national level stuff) and they've begun showing that live pushing tennis off.

I am quite worried that this is gonna hit tennis really bad in the next few years. Until now they've been showing all the slams, masters, and most 500's and a few 250's, so its been just great here.

livestreams are too sucky compared to a good telly broadcast (and i keep my precious bandwidth for downloading old movies!)

Hi guys, looks like my complaints to Starhub worked, they are now showing matches from PC as we speak! Hope this will continue uninterrupted.
Agree about the Internet feeds, just not the same as good ole tv viewing, :)

yep, sucks but i still cringe at the thought of the alternatives such as MTNL. They are so rude. Waiting for Fibre to Home to come my way, then may make a change.

Today the Fed-Somdev match will be on Neo Sports since its on SL. This is the first time they are showing FO on two channels. Until now only WO was shown on 2 channels and that too only for a couple days (QF and SF) iirc. This is good news, does this mean tennis interest is increasing in India ???

Contrast this to the "old days" when they only showed one match in the whole year, the WO final. THis was when there was only one channel and the match was interrupted for the English News at 9:45pm. Then they began showing the semis. and slowly this increased. This was the 70's, well before Fed or SD were born, lol.

You sound like you have been around for awhile, which is good! :) Too often TW posters are too young, :)
Were you supporting good old Vijay Amritraj when he faced Borg in Wimby in 1979, and really should have won, leading 2 sets to 1 and 4-1 in the fourth. You're right; those days we could only watch the Wimbledon Final and no other matches (on terrestrial TV). I remember sleeping and waking up again numerous times whenever there was rain at SW19, :(

I remember listening to the matches on AM radio. I remember the long 5 set final Borg McEnroe (heck, i am so old and amnesic i am even forgetting who was in it, or whom i was rooting for!). It was so exciting following the match on radio, lol.

I remember playing with a wooden racquet at the NSCI ... mostly slices using a continental grip. I have a diary somewhere with the autographs of the entire Indian DC team ... i hope i haven;t lost it in moving.

The best part of those radio broadcasts was when Fred Perry came on. I liked his insights about the game. He used to say that the definition of a "champion" is having that one shot, which all champions have, when they need, could reproduce at any time. And during the broadcasts the loudest din would be made by the spectators when they applaud, sounding very much like a torpical thunderstorm. Those were the great days before TV "ruined" eevrything, :)

Airtel is best when it comes to services, customer support and after sales services.Govt companies such as MTNL(and BSNL in case of non-metro cities) are bad when it comes to providing services and follow up services. What is the speed of your net?

It's good to see Neo sports showing both the courts.Tennis coverage has improved immensely here, but due to new sports being launched things are really getting confusing. This time I did not get to see Rome Masters, had to see the final on the crappy stream(later i came to know it was being telecast-ed on star cricket..lol).I have Den cable,I get Star Cricket.Star sports,ESPN,Sony sports,Ten cricket, ten sports, ten action, ten golf,Neo cricket, neo prime,DD sports and one or two more.As you see I don't have star sports 2 which was launched recently and many hd channels.

I remember watching TV in 90's,although i was pretty little but i remember watching lush green grass with Sampras playing.lol.I think we only had star sports and ESPN with their OLD logo.

Rome Masters was coming on Ten Sports but most of the matches were at 4 am or 2:30 am or whatever. I think i saw a few replays the next morn.

I have a cheap unlimited Airtel connection of 900 rupees. Gives me 2 mbps till 10GB and then it trickles after that at ~ 30 kbps.
