My grandfather used to smoke a tobacco pipe and for my birthday coming up, my mother sent me his pipe. I'm not sure what kind of pipe it is but I'm told it's was his first pipe from the 1940's in Argentina. I never met my grandfather as he passed away when I was an infant so this pipe has sentimental value to my mother.

I'm not sure that I'll actually smoke it but I just wanted to see if there were any pipe owners on here that could offer some advice or tips to smoking a pipe if I decide to try it.

Never smoked a pipe, although I do enjoy going to a tobacconist and getting a small pouch for hand rolling. I got some vanilla before Christmas, it smells just like Tom Ford's Tobacco Vanille, one of my favourite scents. There are alot of options with blends and flavours, that's part of the fun.

If you do give it a go, make sure you keep the tobacco moist. Smoking the dry stuff isn't pleasant.

I used too, picked it up in college and smoked for a few years. I loved the smell of tobacco and the peacefulness of the act but overall it is still not good for you and it eats up a lot of your day.

I saw this thread + Dedans and was assured of comedy gold.
