Anyone else sings while playing tennis? Or sing before playing? For me, I love to sing. From R&B to the 90's. I haven't seen a thread about singing. Why not express how you feel about singing? List all your favorite tunes. Share your talent.

I have the radio and I scream the lyrics because I could care less.
I can sing but who cares on a tennis court, just scream your heart out :D

    Why would singing sound homosexual?

at first I thought you meant professional singers and recreational tennis players. kind of hard to sing and play at the same time, isnt it?

If I'm amped about the match I'm playing I can sometimes go a little James Brown after I hit a winner or an ace. "OOOWWW! GOOD GOD NAAAHHHH!"

... Seriously. I've actually done that. Hot pants...

Some people consider singing as it. I will just delete that part.

Yes it is, but if you are light hitting then it would be okay.

I have no idea why it happens. I just get over-excited, and sure enough, out comes the funk.

I blurted out "Mmmmm BOP!" once during a match.

...then I got beat up after the match. Lesson learned.

Brain McKnight made a remix of careless whisper if you didn't know. You should listen to it. Sound the same, but i like brains version better. Avant, haven't heard his songs in years.

My voice is pretty gravelly, so I don't sing (outside the shower or church, if that), but when I get into position for an approach shot, my feet like to squeak some Stravinsky.....maybe some Rachmaninoff if I'm feelin' groovy.

Kidding. Credit to Federer and The Onion.

I always sing whenever i have music on. Druing matches i sing too but only under my breath. When playing its usually: Elektrobank - chemical bros, standing in the way of control - the gossip and wearing my rolex - wiley.

    Hi
Care to give me some names of good songs?
I keep randomly looking around for music to listen to frm YT as I hack away on my comp. Keep trying out new stuff.

I typed R&B in YT and am getting Aretha Franklin, Carey, Ray Charles, ...

    thx

I always get music stuck in my head, even when playing a match. Its worst when its an important match.

When you're running to a drop shot and chariots of fire comes into your head, makes you run in slow motion and you don't even reach the service line before it bounces twice.

Wow, but I'm not anywhere near that cool.

Incidentally, I think bc of this thread, I found myself singing on a bikeride today. The 'play'list:
    What child is this?
Bruce Springsteen's Santa Claus is coming to town,
    Revolution by the Beatles.
    Revolution by The Cult.
    School fight song,
Paid in Full by Eric B and Rakim.

It's definitely fun to sing, it's just impossible to do it well while you're trying to breathe on a bike. During rallies, it's got to be hard. Between points, I guess I can see it, but I've gotten to into breathing, recovering and preparing for the next point.

I often wish I could sing like a certain person. That person is forever changing though. One day it's John Garcia, the next it's Mark Lanegan... I could go on forever :p

What voice part are you Danny?
I'm also in a varsity choir and a show choir.

I love singing but I hate being a bass and I'm happy my voice is slowly stabilizing. :)
