Hey. I grew up in the Harriman area and now live in South Carolina. I've tried to get my son-n-law to check into the Roane State league. Are you playing? Maybe you two can get together.

How is the league in Roane County? What levels do they have? I still get there about once a month, maybe we can play sometime. I'm a 3.5 level type. Do you all actually have a local league or do you have to play out of the Knoxville local?

Knoxville is the closest organized CTA to Roane County with USTA participation. If you ever want to play some real nice and fun 3.5/4.0 guys in Knoxville, let me know and I will tell you where they hang out for pick up doubles.

I play at roane state, And it's doubles and singles. I've been waiting to play singles(just come out last year) any way the double's is lke this there 8 courts. The best court is 1 You have a partner and you play eight games. It could be 4-4,or 8-0,or etc. and then rotate and then rotate. The person with the most games moves up,The person with the lowest moves down, and the two middle stay. The singes is i dont know yet.its got a variety of levels.

He is probably around 5' 10", slender build, salt and pepper hair and beard - drives a blue jeep or a black jag. Nice guy.

I play at Cedar Bluff Racquet Club (which is in West Knoxville) and the West Hills Tennis Center public courts (also W Knox) and my neighborhood courts on Northshore Dr.

Yep, I'm very familiar with the area. Maybe we will see each other some time.
