Weird scenario. Just like when Clement was using a K-Blade 98 with a Head stencil. Word.

Nice pics vsbab. He might be on the way to switching contracts. But he's played Dunlops for ages, it would be a good pick-up for Head I guess.

Yep... He's messing with his sponsors. He is also wearing Nike shoes even though he has a shoe sponsor with K-Swiss.

If Haas blacked it out, Head could sue Dunlop and would prevail as per the Safin precedent; as it is, Dunlop has a cause for action against Haas, but Head does not as Head's product is not being falsely claimed to be a Dunlop - that's how this is different from the Safin case of a few years back.

Notice the C.A.P System on Safin's "Dunlop".;-)

HEAD filed a lawsuit agianst Dunlop. When HEAD made the lawsuit Safin then started using a blacked out racquet with no stencil. Then Safin came to terms with HEAD and had i.Prestige Panit Jobs on the Prestige Classic 600.

Because Dunlop could not pay Mauresmo what she was owed so they and Head came to an arrangement; the Head - Dunlop - Safin suit was about protecting corporate rights, not consumers' rights.

I don't think so. That Dunlop stencil takes up the whole sting bed of the racquet. There is no room for the racquet brand stencil.

VS do you think a head CAP will fit the slightly smaller head shape of the DUnlop 4D 300 tour/Tecnifibre mold? I do not think so. He grew up playing the PT630

It is a PT57A mold as well just like Soderling?

Well as of this morning, Haas is using not only a Head racquet, but Head bag and stencil....

    He's also beating Roger Federer.

^^^^it would have been great that the PT630 has taken out not only the #1 player in the world but the #2 play in the world as well in the same tournament on clay. But Hass is such a Head case no pun intended that he blew it. He had the match late in the third set and could not believe he was about to win, it was one point and he was going to close it out with his serve.

So, Haas was in fact using the PT630?

I agree, he had Federer bagged and just plain choked it away. Kudos to Federer for once again proving his metal and coming through in a clinch.
