Haven't seen much talk about the Extreme Pro on this board. Anybody playing with one? What did you switch from? What would you compare it to? Likes/dislikes?

i played with it for a month. it's like PD roddick, good on serve and forehand. did not work for my 1hbh. lots of spin, you need to hit hard to produce power. not a feel good racquet at the net. mostly a baseline racquet. my game is all court.

I just picked one up and like it quite a bit. I've heard others compare it to a PDR as well (which I am also experimenting with) but I think they play very differently. The Extreme Pro doesn't feel hollow or foamy like the PDR, seems to have less power, and feels more solid to me.

While both have 100 inch heads, the Extreme's is wider while the PD's is longer. I'm not sure if this extra width is a benefit or a hindrance to stability--the Extreme Pro doesn't feel any less maneuverable though. Perhaps it's that extra width that makes it perform less well at net.

It's an all right racket. I prefer my Pure Drive more.
