Pete is playing at Mamaroneck, NY tomorrow night and I think I will check it out. I've never seen Pete before so I guess it's about time. I'll take a lot of pictures and some videos and put it on my website.

    Anyone else going?

Lee, good idea. Team tennis is pretty fun to watch. I went to see the Sporttimes twice. The venue is about a 10 minute quick walk from the train station.
Tickets are expensive, though. Fifty bucks or so if I remember correctly. Try asking people coming in for extra tickets and tell them you only have 20 bucks.

    Hey buddy :)

I couldn't find any ticket information on NY Sportimes. Should I just get my tickets at the booth? No one is selling tickets at Craigslist, either. Since it's a Wednesday night, I don't think the venue is going to sell out. Maybe I'll just get the cheapest bleacher ticket and work my way in? Is it easy to sneak into the box seats?

I got my tickets at the door. There are no bad seats in the house. It's a small setup. Best view is from the bleachers at either end. The bleachers on the side are good if you want to be close to the teams. The other side is all box seating. They're pretty strict on the seating, the ushers check your tickets, but again, there are no bad seats. Bring your camera and a sharpie. Be sure to eat and drink before you go in. They gouge you on the food. Have a great time!

I saw him in Newport Beach and it was a sad moment for me. I was never a Pete Sampras fan so I thought if he played poorly I wouldn't care. Well I was wrong. It was tough to watch him get cleaned by some second rate player. Don't go see him unless you like watching car wrecks.

That's great to hear. Sounds like he decided to put in a little practice time since Sunday's beating (it was ugly if you didn't watch) at the hands of Sam Warburgh.

Go Pete! (But I'm a Courier fan...looking forward to that one).
