If you do, do you have problems scanning? Does it not scan the whole paper? For me it's always leaving 1-2 cm from the edge after scanning from the glass and the auto feeder. It sucks. Anyone know how to fix this?

On your scanning software (most likely Paperport), make sure the appropriate paper size and orientation is selected.

Make sure the prescan option isn't set in such a way as to make your scanning area smaller.

It is set to 100% but I will check the rest.
I installed the program without Paperport, so I use the Brother's Scansoft Center I think thats what its called. Thanks.

100% happy Brother customer here; I always recommend Brother. My new laser printer/copier? Brother. I think it's the scansoft center you need.

Yes scansoft is the program that comes with it, and it's what I use. I tried and look for every setting I can see but still won't scan all surface area of the regular 8.5x11" printing paper.
