I've put my racquet in for a winter string-job... and the guy whos doing it is putting Tufflex strings in it.... I had a quick hit with them, and they seemed nice and soft.

Its going in a LM Prestige MP @53lbs... does this sound ok?

how much your stringer charge for it?

Tufflex is and 'own brand' by one of the leading string suppliers in the UK. Although I havent hit with it, the description (from my pricelist) sounds similar to other cheap end polys

That's a reasonable price, although I'd prefer Ashaway monogut or Prince Polygut for that price. You may even be able to get Kirschbaum.

Let us know how it plays

Thanks skippy, will let you know... but compaired to the factory string that was in it (very rigid harsh stuff) it's going to be WAY better ;-)... I don't have much to base it on unfortunatly.

Just switched from i.Prestige MP to LM Prestige MP... yeah the TF wraps are excellent, I buy mine for £4 (3-pack) from www.justrackets.com

They have very good grip and absorbency, and last ages.

I see that justrackets are selling them for 4.50 + 2.00 P/P. Do you get them cheaper than that?

"Technifibre Players Wrap Overgrip" £3.99 from that website, and I normally buy with something else like balls, to spread the p&p
