Has anyone used Prince Topspin 15L string before? tell me how you like about this string
Barely user friendly and seems to cut into itself more than other strings due to it's texture...IMO.
I think it is a good overall, perhaps beginners or recreational, string. It isn't outstanding in any category. I actually had one set that lasted me over twenty hours of play before I cut it out. My other strings had been lasting about 12 -15 hours. That confused me because I had never had Topspin last near that long before... kinda weird. I think it is worth a try, especially for around $5.00/set.
Id give it a 6 out of 10. It had good power and added spin but for me it wasnt that durable and hurt my wrist a little.
Topspin 15 is a bit larger in diameter. It has a good feel and good enough for durability. Downside is, it bites the ball less because of thicker gauge. Price is really economical versus overall rating. I think playing with topspin 15 is getting your money worthy as well as it's overall playability. And you if you prefer more bite and spin, the 16 gauge is also another choice. It' s less thicker in diameter and I'd say it breaks often for heavy hitters.
I used to use Topspin 15 in my PSC 6.1 strung at 65 lbs. It felt like a board and I don't think it gave me any more spin.
