Is there anyone who absolutely loves their Q5? It seems most who have bought the Q5 ,either go back to the ki5 or switch to something else.
Is it just a rubbish feeling racket without the comfort of the ki5?
I suffer from tennis elbow and will be buying a new racket VERY soon, and can't decide what to buy .Will possibly go for the ki5 if I can get one(seems to have more love on these boards)

You could save $30-$50 and pick up a 5 or 7G. I have 2 7Gs, and they get the job done--both on the court and for my arm. Just a thought mostly unrelated to your post.

    The silence is deafening .....
I assume that either means very few people have the q5 or don't have many positive things to say about it.
The ki5 315 it is then for Christmas !

See my post on 'pro kennex q5' thread---

Latest post as of now// RollerOH

Strong performance results overall// volleys main exception, but directly correlated to not liking the Feel of the racquet....

Have the 295- played stock & modded 11.4-11.8 w various weight distribution & string/tension setups......
Cannot get comfortable w Feel, but it's my 1st PK frame, so cld very well be they are just not for me---- Comfort is fine/ Feel just not solid to me

    Hope this helps

If you have tennis elbow, you might want to look at the PK5G instead.

The Q5 is a bit too stiff IMHO (at least the Q5 Tour I tried is)...they're trying to make it more like Babolats so the PK5G's plushness isn't there. The Ki5 is also a little more stiff than the PK5G.
The Q5 does work a lot better w/ topspin than the PK5G though...that's the PK5G's main weak point...

    In the past few months, I've demo'd the Ki5 315, Ki5x, Ki Q5 315, and Qtour.

    I'm a long-time 7g user who's recently been prone to TE.

Of the above, the Ki 315 was by far the most comfy for my elbow. The Q5 315 was the least comfy and felt a little stiff. These were all TW demos strung with a multi at their standard tension of mid+2.

I've demo'd a lot of sticks from TW and was very surprised at how good the Ki 315 felt. I've demo'd two Ki 315's and they appear to be coming in nearer to 310g. Despite the lower static weight and swingweight compared to my 7g, the Ki 315 felt to me like it had just enough plow for groundstrokes. Volleying was where I felt the Ki 315 let me down a bit. It has a relatively high twistweight so doesn't want to twist in your hand much on a volley mishit, but I felt like it didn't have much oomph compared to the 7g. It felt like I needed to punch the volley harder with the Ki 315.

Overall, the Ki5 315 is one of the most comfy sticks I've ever demo'd.
