    Tennis bat

Nope..never have tried that for tennis specifically but I have used tees in baseball/softball training :) Anyway, the concept makes sense for improving your strokes.

The tennis bat is an interesting product. The setup they show on that page is even more so. An air powered tee combined with a treadmill and a hoola-hoop target...plus a little brother to set the balls.

You know, I thought of using the treadmill for shuffling/lateral steps, never did, now I'll persevere .... What are they using for holding up the ball before the shot? Is it a golf tee or what?

    Thanks for the pointer.

I don't... doesnt seem very practical though... How many people are willing to lug there treadmill if they even have one and take it outside. Also how many of your friends or siblings willing to stand there and set the balls for you while you do this for god knows how long...

And plus tennis isnt about just moving side to side... In many cases you have to run to the ball or move back and the ball isnt going to be nicely put for you...

But if you have all the stuff I guess its a good idea...
