Anyone use a two handed BH return and one handed BH groundstrokes?

I have been using a one handed backhand for over 25 years of competitive tennis play. I have advanced to a level of play where I'm playing young guns hitting big serves. I'm having issues returning their serves with my one hander. I've recently tried returning with two handed backhand and found some success. However, I can't hit two handed groundstrokes consistently for the life of me. I've attempted to work on the two handed groundstrokes for 2 years now with little improvement. So I only use two handed backhand now for return of serve and one handed on groundstrokes and having success again. Just curious if anyone use two handed BH return and one handed BH groundstrokes?

I am the opposite case, I naturally swing the BH with 2H and use it as my choice for driving the ball even from inside the court, but as I have been learning the 1H I have noticed more returns of serve where I intuitively swing at it 1H to either block it if jammed against my boddy or return hard serves and send it back cross court.

If I want to hit a DTL return I find more control with 2H, but cross court sometimes I feel like with my 2H I try to apply too much spin to get the same angle that feels easier with 1H if the ball is on the lower contact zone.
