I just completed a trade on TT and will be getting 2 POGs soon. I'm anxious to try out this classic.

After much testing, my main sticks are set up with SPPP17 (53) / natgut (57). I'm 4.5 on a good day all court and hit with quite a bit of topspin.

I have reels of SPPP, Gosen OG, and packages of NXT, NRG-2, and BDE gut on hand.

I'd appreciate your input on combos and tensions if you've used this setup or something similar.

Do you break strings? The POG EATS strings....I played it for a while and hybrids with poly mains and multi crosses broke in 2-3 hours...if you dont break strings the hybrid will play very well.

I'm not typically a string breaker, but I know may change with the POG mid. I guess I'll try it out and see.

Maybe start with full SPPP in one, then eventually SPPP+OG ... it will take some time to adjust tensions and you might cut some strings, so it might be better to cut the cheaper strings :)
