Anyone been watching? ITV4 in the UK, I forgot it was on and tuned in just in time to see the end of McEnroe v Leconte, McEnroe currently serving for the match at 5-1 in the second set, having won the first 6-3.

This evening though sees Tim Henman v Fabrice Santoro! Really looking forward to that one :) I think it's on at 7:30 GMT. There's also a doubles match with Bahrami on court, but I'm not sure if that's on before or after, or it it's being shown at all.

McEnroe wins and through to the Legends final to face Pat Cash, the man who beat him on Thursday.

    [EDIT]

Mods, feel free to move this to the Former Pro Players section if you have to, I just figured this should be in the Match Results forum :)

I watched some JMac yesterday, had to laugh at the throwing the shirt into the crowd at the end.

He did it again today, the guy's in pretty good shape!

Glad to be of service 8) I think the doubles is scheduled for about an hour after the singles this evening so they're both being televised :)

A 56 year old man serving 113 mph. I wish I could do that when I hit 56.

Glad to see El Aynaoui at this tournament. He narrowly lost both his singles matches to Henman and Santoro, and now he's playing the doubles exhibition :)

I was clocked at 106mph indoors earlier this year with an old borrowed Prince Powerflex 90 and in normal clothes and no shoes and a few times again in a fast serving booth this summer. Give me the right conditions and I could probably hit a 113:)

EDIT: I suck at conversions. It was actually 162 km/h / 100.6 mph.

They're showing highlights of yesterdays match between Henman and Santoro again, there were some fun points on display there. I look forward to the day when Federer, Nadal or Djokovic turn up to play there.

Then it's Henman vs Enqvist, Henman aiming for his first ever tournament win in London!

    Then McEnroe later 8)

    [EDIT]

Oh, wait, McEnroe played earlier

    SPOILER!
    (Highlight below)

    Mac won 6-2 6-4

I keep thinking that Henman is Murray for some reason. Until I see the difference in speed anyway...

    C'MON TIM!!

He's 37 and has an injured calf! Give him a break. Tim will always be more popular than Murray because Henman is a true british gentleman and not a scottish twat.

Henman has beaten Enqvist. Well done Tim.

Henman got criticism for being an English gentleman and not showing enough fire. Some people like to moan, as simple as that.

Oh yes, dear old Tim is the darling of the champagne set isn't he? Nice, posh boy from a nice upper-middle class background who speaks with the right accent. Poor Andy who comes from Scotland and speaks in a mumbly Scottish accent can't possibly compete with 'Gentleman Tim' can he? Won how many titles, sweetie? What more than our darling Tim? Surely not, but never mind he'll never be one of 'us' like good 'ol Tim, will he?

Why don't you stick with the champagne and gin-and-tonic set where you can all make as many ignorant, racist remarks about Andy as you like. The rest of us TRUE British tennis fans will carry on giving Andy the kind of support we always gave dear old Tim!

First time he has ever won a title in London! Well done Tim! :)

Doesn't seem to have aged does he? Retirement obviously suits him!!

He certainly looked rusty. First time he's lost a match to Henman since 1998!

A very passive and subdued personality is better than Murray's whining personality. That said, Murray is going to have the more accommplished career but that won't make him as popular as Henman once (still) was. Plus, Henners was always viewed as an underdog which made him more likeable whereas Murray is a consistent top4 player, no sympathy vote for him.

I feel that Murray, like Henman, will always have an underdog quality to him until he wins a slam.

But why does it have to be a competition between them? Britain hasn't exactly been swamped recently with good and promising tennis players has it? We are not Spain. If we want to see a British tennis player competing with the best then we should get down on our knees and thank God or Fortune that we have had Tim and now we have Andy winning titles and occasionally beating the best.

Unlike you apparently, I like to see British tennis players doing well and don't give a stuff what accents they talk in or whether they come from Scotland, Wales, the Outer Hebrides or even Nottingham!

    I do.

Anyone who calls an ATP Tour level player a 'pusher' is just being daft. They could all double bagel almost everyone who posts on the board - with a frying pan.

Well fortunately, that's not the case. We have Andy Murray, the world no.4 to represent us instead!
