I'm hoping for Del Potro but that i guess would not to be cazy since he is in the top ten, but he would most likely meet federer in the quarters.

I would pick Nalbandian, but that would eliminate the chance for Federer to get there. :?

Actually Nadal reaching the finals would be some kind of shock to many posters here, as he has never made it beyond the semis of a HC slam.

    Anyone from Rafa's side .

Fed has remarkable consistency. At least semi-finals in how many straight Slams now?!

I think this is over with. now people are expecting it so it won't happen... no one was saying "baghdatis" or "tsonga" or even gonzalez, they just took the tourney by storm.

but if anyone could fit this bill it'd be gulbis, no doubt, but I just can't see him stringing 7 wins together. he's never done it before.

Roddick. Everyone thinks hes past his prime, and hes gonna run through to the semis and lose to Fed like always.

No shockers this year, IMO, but if I had to choose one it would be Nalbandian...

Roddick! The way many ppl talk about his game here it'll probably be classified a shock if he reaches the final.

The way Roddick played in the last few grandslams,it would be something normal if he wouldn`t reach second week.

sure you didn't mean christophe rochus ? ;)
mmmh... i don't see him improving his best slam performance (3rd round) either.

by the way, he had some weird comments after his loss to gasquet in sydney. maybe he didn't really mean what he said but he made it sound like he doesn't care so much about this kind of tournament (sydney / hopman cup) and didn't care either to lose to gasquet, because he didn't "really really" wanna win this match, as he used it for trying new strategies...

ok, good to be ambitious, but it sounded a bit ankward towards richard and the tournament, especially for a guy who never did anything big at a slam. :?

    (in french, sorry)

disappointing from him : despite finding his game ugly, i thought he had looked like a nice guy so far.

my pick would either be simon or murray. simon has enjoyed a dream season based on his previous standards, but murray has been so dominant already this year. not to mention he has reached the us open final and played in shanghai.

haha, even he would be shocked.

Sadly. Seppi had to face a tough customer in round one. Would have liked to see him do better than R1.

Imagine if Kohlscrieber and Gulbis both get on a streak and meet in the final, both playing at their top level. It would be INSANITY.
