What are you talking about? Coria was cramping to the point he could barely walk and still played his guts out until the end and nearly won.

Tipsarevic may be fined because of his lack of effort.

Yeah that was so disappointing, I mean my god Tippy learn how to ****ing play at the net.... So many poor shots/volleys at the net.... All he had to do was hit it where Verdasco wasn't....

Let's be honest though, Verdasco didn't deserve to win this match.

I always hate watching matches that end like this. The kind where a huge underdog comes in and plays so well early on and then the guy who came out sluggish and flat like they don't even care, yet still manages to win... So disappointing. You just wish they could be like "You know what Verdasco you don't deserve to have made it to the 3rd round, we'll put a lucky loser in instead of you, maybe the LL will actually play like it means something to them."

Not sure why you'd be happy for him... Based on the way he came out, how can anyone be a fan of that guy?? Hate Verdasco and his inconsistent play so much...

It's called different strokes for different folks. I think the guy can play, his 09 match with Rafa remains one of my favs to rewatch.

But forgive me for not being down on him, like you are.

I think the down the line shot Verdasco hit to save match point in one of the deuces in the 4th set was the point of the tournament so far, considering the circumstances. just amazing.

Men I really enjoyed the Verdasco come back...I was losing hope...that was an awesome match. The fact that I don't really like Tipsarevic made it even sweeter :)

he went big on several of those points when tips was serving for the match. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, yesterday it did. :) A djokovic/dasco match on this surface is tasty. :) No let down vs. nishikori please.

A key point in the match. Tips maybe should have been calmer on the 3rd volley, but he set himself up for some tough play by choosing to come in that way. Dasco had good chances to end that point on the tips approach shot and tips volleys 1 and 2.

Did this match really happen or was it just a nightmare I had?

It was a poor approach, then he was under the kosh, that leads to hopping bh volleys that get spanked by gigantor lefty fearhands from way behind the court. :) Fun point. :) I know, I like repeating things. :)

Oh man, that's tough, thinking he went on to lose the match from there.. Well done by Verdasco though.

I left the match (or rather, left for bed) when Tipsy firmly won the second set, he was playing very well... But Verdasco's play seemed average at best, so when I first saw the result I wasn't that surprised because surely Verdasco is capable of picking his level up during a match, but seeing now how Tipsarevic was up a break, wasted MPs, and one like that... Really tough for Tipsy.

I am sure Tips will recover, seems like he is back into tennis this year.
