Murray passing very well. Is that the strategy, in addition to grinding down Jeremy's backhand?

Who's the bald guy on Chardy's box? Coach?

Andy better get it together before he blows this set. He's been pulling a Nadal lately with not being able to hold onto his serve after he breaks.

I like that Chardy is all business. No mumbling to himself, no antics, no grunts, no BS

Chardy didn't beat Del Potro by a fluke, or even because Delpo played all that badly. Chardy is a beast when at his best. Murray needs to raise his level.

Chardy's going down in straight sets here. Murray too smart. Chardy will run out of steam in set 3 - being moved around too much.

nope. he uses the slice to keep the ball low so he can approach or to give himself time to position. rarely hits topspin or flat backhands. dunno how he plays on clay.

Too bad the gap was so big already. Even if he levels here itll take too much out of him.

eh, the fries are ok, and greasy as hell.

burgers are outstanding, but a bit overpriced.

meanwhile chardy is playing like he did when he beat delpo, making murray sweat

Some gutsy stuff by Chardy so far. I have no doubt that even if he loses this game, he'll continue being as energized in the second set

Patchy again from Murray but timing is a bit better than his last match.

That Chardy forehand is a real weapon when it's on.

what is going on with Murray's passing shots btw? It's not like it's Edberg attacking the net. His bh has been shaky the whole 1st set. Time to switch to second gear Andy...

I've noticed one thing: since Rafa abandoned the game, Djoker's and Murray's backhands have become worse...

Don't worry, Murray will destroy Fed in a couple of days. Have some pickles, down a sixpack and have some restful rest.

Would you get up if you set the alarm? That's what I'm doing now. Probably going to get a couple hours sleep since Murray just broke, and this could get ugly. I have university 9:00 in the morning too, but I've stayed up for pretty much everything except Djokovic-Berdych because I'm crazy like that ;)

Although Chardy is listed at 6-2, he looks taller than murray. At first i though that was because he has such skinny legs, but he actually does look taller. it would make sense because he is hitting bigger on serves and groundstrokes despite being much lighter in terms of weight.

Murray can't volley a forehand slice?! Dumps it inot the net.... That won't work in the final
