Are grip gloves a good substitute for Overgrips?

I have a Head grip glove and I'm wondering if it's worth to get an overgrip if you have a glove.

    To hot

In Florida where I play you do not see gloves to much. Your hand would roast off. Most players use overgrips here. If you are from the frozen north it may be different.

Golf players use gloves but I do not like gloves in tennis because I do not feel the hit. I mean the feeling is gone. Overwrap grips are better than the gloves!

I only used gloves when playing in Japan at 5 degrees C to keep warm my hands ...
