I have been working out since Ocotber, 3 times a week, with a general muscle building program. I have been taking protein shakes...eating loads of food...I have gained about a stone in weight and look alot bigger but my arms are far behind my chest, legs and back in terms of muscle growth. My technique is correct on my routines....Arms are probabely the one thing that show the most so it is annoying so how can this be?

    What's your routine?

If you're going to the gym and doing squats and deads and bench and shoulder presses and big compound movements like those, then congratulations on having a great routine, but your arms are certainly going to lag. That's okay though because your arms aren't supposed to be as big as your legs, even if it is a common sight in gyms. Worry about your arms after you've put on a good deal of mass in the more important areas.

If your arms really look unbalanced, try switching up your exercises. Do preacher curls instead of regular, skull crushers instead of push downs, etc. Try doing two types exercises for the bis and tris. Also, switch up the amount of weight you do; have medium days where you push 8-12 reps per set, and then heavy days where you go for 3-5 reps in a set with more weight.
