Just let me say that its a pleasure to have the ability to pick other players 'brains on this discussion board. As a result, I bought my Resolution IIs and am now on my second pair. Love em!
I have mild osteoarthritic knees. As a result, several guys on this forum suggested replacing the insole with Superfeet Orange. As a result, I went to a Retail Store highly recommended by Superfeet who had the training with their products. A trained salesman measured my feet, helped me determine which model was most suitable for me (Superfeet Orange) , helped me with the fit and actually trimmed them down to size for me. (I am a 91/2 tennis shoe)

However, on my right foot, the outside back (left side of my foot) felt strange almost as if it was rubbing against the outside side as I walked. My left foot was fine- it felt exactly the same as the insole that came with the Asics.

The salesman who had been trained by Superfeet assured me that it was something that will not be a problem, that I will get used to it and the sole will mold a bit as I wear it.
I tried some short sprints and shuffling side to side and it was not near as noticeable.
The salesman also stated that there was a guarantee from Superfeet so I could return them within 30 days.

Has anyone else with Superfeet had similar issues wearing them right outside of the box and no pun intended, what was the resolution of the issue as you wore them?
    Thanks.

Sometimes the placement inside the shoe with superfeet is off- have u tried taking it out and adjusting it?

I know with ballistecs and superfeet you really need to center it and push down securely or else the insole can flip one way and you will have the issue you just described

I've never had a problem with Superfeet Orange in my Gel Resolution 2's.

I wonder if the salesman who was nice enough to cut your Superfeet insoles was distracted in talking to you, and cut one of them slightly off.
The way to check for that is to take the Superfeet out of your shoes, being careful to note which one fits correctly. Hold them one on top of the other, and see if they have exactly the same shape. If they don't, and there is excess on the one that doesn't seem to fit right, cut off the excess with scissors. I hope this will solve the problem.

Thanks Charlie! However, I don't think he was distracted. I failed to mention that I bought two pairs/sets and there was the same exact issue on the right foot for both pairs... and there was no issue on the left foot with either pair/set!

Then it is your foot- take the insole out place it on the ground and put your foot on it- look at your trouble spot to figure out your dilemma

Have you ever worn orthotics before? If not, it's quite normal to feel odd for a while. I was told it could be up to 2 weeks to adjust, but in my case it was more like a couple of days.

If you're wondering why it's one foot and not the other, they're unlikely to be identical. The salesman gave you the correct advice: try them out, and if you still have any discomfort then make use of the warranty.

Thank you, Dags. Great advice. I played in them for the first time last night and had no problem at all. In fact, they were terrific. Combined with my asics, my knees and feet felt great. The Superfeet improved the performace of the shoe. In fact, for some reason, I felt more confident moving last night-I seemed to have more mobility and had a more explosive first step, if that makes any sense.
