Agreed. 4-2 Llodra at change of ends - was 4-1 up on serve.
6-3, 7-6 Llodra
Davy continues to plummet down the rankings
Davy will be ranked #39 next Monday
Llodra through...anybody know when the Tsonga-Dimitrov match is on? Should be a good one..
3rd on centre tomorrow mate.
Some good other matches too - De Bakker v Gulbis is on after Tsonga, then night matches are Sod V Haase followed by Berdych v GGL.
Dustin Brown vs Donald Young...Epic match to come!
Thanks! The Gulbis match should be good too...of course I'm a bit partial; I could watch Gulbis play against the wall...
Any livestreams? None of the usual suspects are working...
No Rotterdam stream listed
No tennistv.com feed before Thursday usually means no streams before Thursday.
I just can't believe they decided not to show the first rounds of Rotterdam with a field this deep.
Common practice I'm afraid. Many of the ATP 500 events only get televised form Thursday onward.
OK. It's supposed to be live on Sport 1 TV channel in The Netherlands. This link claims to show Sport 1 but I'm in works and can't try it.
Worked for me today for the Davydenko vs Llodra match.
Fromsport had links up earleir but they seem to be gone now.
All feeds stopped when the when the broadcast switched from Sport1 to Sport2. No one had the idea to just change the channel
Murray wins it.
Links worky again!
Yeah, that's probably when the broadcast came back from channel Sport1-Tennis to channel Sport1-Live.
Oh, and Troicki-Schoorel was a bit confusing at times. Both wore the green Adidas shorts with a white shirt, white socks and dark shoes.
Remember to color-coordinate next time guys.
Streams can be found on LSH today. Now showing Ferrer-Nieminen.
You guys should be watching this...great stuff...
^^ Just tuned in.
Some beautiful strokes there , Dimitrov serve not good so far
Jo seems in good form. Already up a break 3-1 in the first.
Watching Dimitrov play, I can see him in top 10 some day.
He needs to work on many things though and gain some play practice in matches against the best of the sport.
Hmm, I wonder what's gonna happen.
Tsonga is playing really well.
He's top 50 material at the moment imo...he just needs to stop getting these crappy draws...
Well, at least his serve is working now. But I don't know if he can break Tsonga.
On a side note, Grigor actually won his match against Berdych in 2009 after losing the first set, so in theory he can beat Tsonga.
Actually, Dimitrov doesn't look inferior to Tsonga in any way atm.
Of course, Tsonga is way more experienced and Dimitrov's game seems fragile at times. Like the second serving game of Dimitrov when he made 2 double errors and allowed Tsonga to break him.
Dimitrov's legs seem to be getting in the way of having a great movement. Or maybe he just needs to get more muscle on his body, looks rather slender.
Tsonga playing well. It's been so long since Jo has played some quality tennis, hopefully this tournament does him some good.
first set, Tsonga
Let's hope Dimitrov takes the second
His anticipation (imo one of the best indicators of tennis talent) is pretty bad (compared to the rest of his game)...
lack of talent or lack of experience?
^^ Experience, hopefully.
Unfortunately, I have to agree on that.
That's why I don't see him as a future number 1, but he can be a decent tennis player.
I like how he tries to set up points at the net, can't see that very often nowadays.
Yeah Dimitrov is giving a respectable showing.
Talent is an overused term. More striking to me is the fact that his movement is not fluent and effortless although he is a slender. Footwork can be improved and also serve, just smacking it doesn't work, he needs to learn some placement and how to work the corners of that box.
I like the fact that he is not afraid of taking the ball on the rise which is something you will not see for players outside of the Top100. Hell, even most of those outside of the Top50.
Routine Tsonga win 4&4...
Decent match from Joe. He's up against Llodra in the next round. A watchable match for sure.
Grigor looked respectable...Tsonga is looking back to form, no?
Couldn't tell...too easy a match, too many errors from dimitrov...
Llodra looked ominous against Davy though (especially the 1st set...)
what happened to the gloobis match? can't find it anywhere
^^ Looks like Gulbis withdrew and Petzschner replaced him.
Gulbis withdrew with a fever.
He got caught up in Amsterdam. Particularly the Red Light District.
I was in Rotterdam yesterday and must say that I was REALLY impressed by Llodra. He was untouchable on his serve, consistent from the back of the court and showing some real skills at the net. In the second set Davydenko was playing really well, but still he wasn't able to really get Llodra in trouble.
Separate names with a comma.
