Looking at the ATP page today I notice they no longer show the race points that is achivied year by year. They are only showing the Entry rankings, Does anybody knows if the ATP decided to withdraw the race ranking thing? www.atp.com

Thank you Andres. So, it seems that they at least decided to leave the year race ranking less visible. I rember before, they used to market the Race all over the front of the site. I believe it is good that they are exposing more the Entry ranking because, It is what counts the most anyway...

I think they're putting a lot less weight on the Champions Race now. The entry ranking is now what they have up on their website front page and they don't really mention the Champions Race much. I'm guessing the only time it will really be mentioned is towards the end of the season when they're trying to figure out whos going to the Tennis Masters Cup, similar to WTA's Race to the Porsche Championships Leaderboard. The Champions Race was pretty ridiculous, though it was really funny when you would read things like "Kristof Vliegen will be ranked 4th in the world next week following his runner up appearance in Adelaide". The first 2 weeks of the season always see some random guys at the top because they happen to do well in Adelaide or Chennai or somewhere like that .
