I hope Djokovic have a chance to play Federer.
That would be a good test on where Federer's game is now.

hewitt is just not a good match up for nadal.

hewiit can splint faster than federer chasing all the wide angled shots
and doesn't really get bothered by high rollers to his backhand.

this is when nadal needs to be more aggressive, i think.

There are 4 Spaniards in the QF, every match in the QF has a Spaniard.
Ferrer, Moya and Almagro have tough matches but I think Moya and Almagro have a chance.

ANd it looks like Moya is about to take Djokovic out. The Spaniards have always been so tough on clay and it looks like Almagro might be the newest of their stars.

unfortunately, argentina doesnt seem to last the pace of spain lately. Im proud of argie tennis, but spain has the edge (or more than that) on the red dirt.
oh, well, moya is my fav player outside the bounderies of argieland, so i guess its ok.

Hewitt v Nadal should be interesting. Similar to Nadal playing Davydenko, in that there isn't really a weakness to exploit on the Hewitt backhand side. Hewitt might be a little better at net and has a better topspin lob

Hewitt is playing very well, grinding, seems like he has a little of the fire back in the belly. Nadal is for sure the favorite, but Hewitt should make a match of it.

I always thought that Hewitt's game was well suited for clay.I am surprised he never maded at least a finals appearance at the FO.Should be a good match off course with Nadal being the favorite.

I am predicting 7-5 6-3 win for Nadal just because he makes clay the most boring surface in tennis. Hardcourts I miss you so much!

Hewitt is going to be absolutely demolished by Nadal. He may even quit before the match is over. Still, it would be great to see him play some "ferocious" tennis >>> like he use to. Come on hewitt!!

Well you know, **** happens. So even exciting and highly anticipated match-ups like Federer vs Ferrer can result in an unbelievable upset where Ferrer actually wins his 1st set after playing Fed for the 7th time.

Watching a claycourt match with Nadal is equivalent to watching Federer vs Ferrer. Minus the beauty of Federer's shots of course.

Nadal has maded the clay season more predictable then Roger on grass.I know that Fed has 4 wimbledon titles but still, this is beyond ridiculous.I doubt that Fed's grass streak will reach 80.

Like I said, at least Fed's matches always include Fed's beautiful tennis. Nadal's grind-fests are just grind-fests. The only reason Nadal fans are excited is because they are hoping that he will be #1 this year. I doubt they are excited about the individual matches which must be boring even to them.

Grass matches include only a big serve in half of the points, clay matches include long rallies and much more variety. This is why I think clay is much more exciting to watch and yes, I think Nadal game is nice to see. Looking at the activity on this board you see that clay matches are exciting to watch.
The crowd in grass matches seem to be taking a nap, I can understand.
