i mean the ATP race, like federer finished up w/ 12xx points in 2005 n nadal finished at 9xx points... the 6950 points one is the entry system. It doesnt seem like the atp website is showing it on the main page.

The answer to your question is no, not until after the USO. The ATP has decided to focus on the entry system and will begin promoting the Champions Race later in the year as a 'countdown to the Masters Cup' type of thing. Check Jon Wertheim's Mailbag at SI.com a few weeks ago for the official comment from the ATP about it.

I for one am happy that the Champions Race isn't receiving as much attention as it used to. This leads to a lesser likelihood that Yahoo! News and other clueless entities will report "Federer seeks to regain No. 1 ranking" like they did after he fell behind in the Race early last year.

If Federer maintains his #1 ranking throughout the year and January 2007 he will have surpassed Jimmy Connors' record for most consecutive weeks at #1.

It looks like it's going to happen.
