Methinks Herr Lammer lays the hammer on the Colonel and trolls maximum...IIRC he beat Tomic in the qualies.

lol, it's over. Youzhny loses 4 and 3. That eliminates about 90% of the competition.

What a freaking troll, this Youzhny. Knew I shouldn't have picked him when practically everyone else did.

Fish doesn't go with Basel as Mardy retires after 11 minutes with hamstring injury. BTW, tennis is the only sport where athletes retire after ten minutes. Have you ever seen a baseball pichter throw ten pitches and then declare that he can't go on because of a pre-existing injury? How about a football quarterback? Doesn't happen. Only in tennis. Collect the fee, don't get hit with the zero on your points. Not as bad as Gulbis retiring in DC because of the heat, but still really lame.

18/29...62 percent of particpants are slayed by the Youz. 1 by young, there is still Nieminen and Muller to play.

This could be the biggest dropout since Ljubicic.

I remember when Pospisil ousted me early @ Montreal...a parallel to the hammer Lammer delivered today...home field advantage means something, no?

Great win by my white Sharko Jarko. Guess we're down to single digits of entrants surviving.

I want to win, but I would have to take too big of a chance on mayer or kukhshin, so I'll settle for a finalist place hopefully :)

Yeah, I went for the win. :(

    Oh well.

Good luck Fed Nadal, I suppose at this point, you'll just make it to the final with no picks remaining. I probably should have played it safe as well.

    See everyone in Paris.
