monfils has to be careful with simon... cramps or not, he's always been very good at playing possum, in a style more similar to the muzzette than the nadal... and maybe even better than the muzzette.

allez gael, break again ! :)

And inexplicably, the quality of tennis is rising slightly. Nice hands there by Simon at the net.

Simon should thank his opponent for being the biggest tennis clown ever. If it was anyone else, Simon would've been hammered by now.

Monfils thrives on drama, so he's trying to keep things dramatic. He's just thinking about his future tennis biography, you see.

Monfils wins 7 games in a row, now Simon wins 3 in a row, it's like a bite-size version of the Nadal/Djokovic rivalry of 2011-2012!

Good for Simon if he wins, he's a fighter I must say. Monfils, just go home

This match is SICK. Murray is probably having a good laugh watching this.

They should let them play doubles against Murray, the winner will be absolutely exhausted.

Holmes: Is there anything more boring than watching Simon hit backhands crosscourt, Watson?

    Watson:....z.....z............zzzzzzzzzzzzz..........

I am completely and utterly bewildered by this match, I missed the first two sets, but I've tuned in for long enough to see one of the most bizarre matches I've ever seen

Do you think Andy Murray will wake up in a good mood when he hears about this match?

I'd say yes. Either way, he'd have won against either.

I'd like Gael to go to through though after his time out recently for injury.
