Tomic comes back from 0-40 to deuce as Fed's serve came off a little...

Prime Fed would have broken Tomic at least twice in this set

If Prime Fed was playing, Tomic wouldn't even had showed up.

Fed hitting practice tweeners, just in case he'll need them later.

Tomic not helping his cause, break & set point again.

    Fault.

Fed catches the tape - although his BH is looking pretty solid. Back to deuce...

Crap does the tweener curse still come into effect?!?!?!

Or does it not count since Fed didn't win the point with it?!

That was not the smackdown 1st set Fed should have produced though. Tomic must feel like he's right in it.

Not really. He's playing his C game right now, barely out of 1st gear.

Tomic is really looking like a moron for opening his big mouth. So far he's done nothing.

I think he's always been a little slower moving to his right (forehand). Don't really know why, maybe because he's shocked that some fool would actually go to his forehand?

Remember when he had a stiff back in Wimbledon, he just didn't move to his forehand.
