I think Tomic is learning though. He's starting to add more pace to the ball. Maybe he realized the only way to beat Federer is to out-hit him?

Fed can't deal with the flat FH of Tomic. Fed's BH is working better than the FH, should trading BH instead.

Which is what he just did and another BP.

Tomic reminds me a bit of Radwanska. Has a good instinct for where the opponent's momentum is going.

I think Tomic's funky forehand is very hard to read... there's just no wind-up.

Is this another chance to break serve or another chance to prove that he can't?

    EDIT: The latter.

On tennis warehouse, we firmly believe Federer can move the moon out of its orbit with his forehand if he wants to.

This is getting to be trouble for Fed if he keeps trading fh's.

godDAMN it! Federer how do you think you'll ever become one of the best if you can't convert BPs? This Roger guy seems like such a headcase

I am Fed fan and the reason I am up at this time watching this, But if you can't see what's special about Tomic after that last game, then no one will be able to explain it to you.

He could just play more offensive, try to move Tomic instead of just returning the ball passively waiting for Tomic to error!

Fed's movement looks pretty bad. Groundies don't have much sting. Luckily he's serving decently.
