www.tennisresults.com.au is the best place to look. Just scroll through the upcoming events list, and also check the Optus calendar for points.

I have 2 points from making 2nd round of a 16s last year, and might have more for making the 3rd round of an 18s a few weeks back, but may not count since 2 of my matches were walkovers LOL. It's hard in the 18s to get points now, becuase the draw is usually under 64, the qualification for points is stricter, although the points are higher in 18s. I'm hoping to play some more 18s tournaments and see how I go. I played the 8 seed and lost 6-3 6-2 which I was very happy about.

Although, I'm 17 and will be 18 all next year, so I might wait until then, with year 12 and all, it's not the tournaments that are in they way, its the proper practice and training it takes to play well in them.

Ok, Duzza and Ronny. Can you explain to me what exactly are AR points for? Are there some tournaments that require you to have AR points or something?

AR points are Australian Ranking Points. they are points that show u what ur ranked in australia. you can get AR points by playing tennis australia sanctioned tournaments i think(well thats how i got mine) and you do not require AR points to play the tournaments but u do need to be decently good

Some of the higher tournies you need a high AR so you can get straight into the main draw otherwise you have to qualify...

What city? your summer or ours? If it's ours, in Melbourne there aren't too many that I can name, but check www.tennisresults.com.au. Some on the site are not points tourneys though. If you're in Melbourne hit me up an email.

its your winter so its this july. well mainly gonna be in sydney and perhaps canberra for a bit. Going to melbourne might be tough but if tourneys fit perfectly into schedule might do so. I'll hit you up if i do.

do you have any idea about these satalitte coaches? my coach is from aus and he says you can get coaches which are around satillite level to travel with you, to hit with you and to like take care of you for like $100AUS per day or something

No idea...I didn't realise you were going at that level, but there are a lot of coaches around in Australia, not sure about Satellites though.

well thats because of the isolation factor of Perth, its not like players from the Eastern states can readily travel to and from the West

I'm just 17, so basically 2 more years of 18s tourneys. I am very decent, don't worry about that, but Tomic would beat me 0 and 0 :p

Just ones not too far away, but still Ranking ones. This year I've played Frankston Masters and Eastern Region.

Starting on the 9th? Not sure, but if I'm reading right, all 12s-18s are Ranking points, so it will be pretty high standard. Looking through the list, there's really not much else on. What dates are you planning to be here? A little earlier is the Metropolitan Open Events, so you could try your luck at that, entering maybe the Open and A's.

Lol i've only got .25 points from runner up in conso (got knocked out 1st round in main by the guy who won the tournament -_-) - Ronny Perth is pretty sad for tournaments well AR ones anyway and any ones we do have are pretty low level AR value :S Oh well just have to get by
