I am looking at Azarenka's racket at the Aussie open in the match with Li Na and it looks like Aza really switched to to New IG youtek extreme. This IG line of rackets have Unique throat area to improve aerodynamics of the racket durint the forward swing. Idea is faster swing speed and more spin. It looks to me like she really did switch and not a PJ.

Azarenka still plays with the LM Instinct.

Pretty clearly not the rounded head shape of an Extreme, more elongatged like the Instinct.

Don't forget the LM ridges that are clearly visible.

    vsbabolat,

I respectfully disagree about the Extreme mold. I was holding the IG Extreme Pro today, and noticed a change in the throat. Near the bottom of the inside of the throat, the construction comes to an point. Difficult to describe, but I haven't noticed it in previous Extreme models. I guess you could say the inside of the throat feels "sharp."

Given your continued expertise with Head racquets, I'm aware that there's a good chance I'm wrong.

^^^right that change in the throat area is supposed to make the racket more Aerodynamic so Faster Swing speed and more Spin. at least that is what Head saids.

That's a good call. But that is more of what I would consider a cosmetic change. As far as beam width and design it has not changed.

They are getting these LM Instincts from special racquet elves who make them in a hollow tree.
