Ive noticed that this dampener is rather unique. it has two ellipse-shaped pieces of silicone, just over 5 cms apart im guessing, joined together by two rubber lines, hence making the babolat logo.

    1) Would this damp be any good? Would it forgive you on off-center hits, yet not dampen too much on sweet-spot hits, as the design implies? and,

    2) How would it compare to the wilson shock-trap, which pretty much is the reverse, having a wider section in the middle?

    Your responses/insightful comments are appreciated.
