Really have enjoyed RPM blast, and noticed that the old Duralast is going for less than $50.00 a reel. Is it really that awful? Any similarities to RPM?

Well Nadal used to play with it at Borg-like tensions, and performed quite well until he eventually switched to RPM (the stuff about the PHT in his racquets is a lie).

What to say? It's just a cheap, plain, flavourless poly string. No noticeable qualities whatsoever. Good for those who break very quickly and like stiff strings at a very low price, since it also drops tension at lightning speed. The goal is to break it before it becomes a fishnet.

RPM (any versions) plays nothing like Duralast. They don't play in the same league, really. The price ain't the same either... There are also good non-Babolat polys with good spin for a similar price.

Thank you for your feedback; so the string ranges between crap and garbage. :)
