I'm wondering if there are Babolat experts out there who can help me. I got this racquet along with a couple others off Craigslist about a year ago, and never have been able to figure out where it fits in. My boys play Babolat racquets, and we all wonder when this old "Pure Power" came out and whether it is the ancestor of any current models. The most interesting thing to me in the flattened Yonex-style head. None of the other Babolats I've seen has that.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Looking back at some of the old Babolat threads in this forum, I guess I should have asked for help from one of the minions of the Babolat Alliance.

Here are some (unstrung) specs taken off the racquet, although some of them are a little odd: weight, 295 grams (+/-7); flex, 70 RA (+/-3); balance, 320 mm. (+/-7); dynamic inertia, 285 kg x cm2 (+/-10). So it's lightweight -- about 10.5 oz. -- and is pretty stiff. But I confess I don't even know what the dynamic inertia is.

The other things I know: it's a standard 27 in. long, probably about 100 sq. in. head, 16x19 string pattern, made in China. It has the Woofer technology. It also says in a couple places, "THINK P.A.S.S." All a mystery to me.

Thanks to those who have weighed in -- anybody else have this model or know any more about it?

I shall dispatch agents from the BBI (Babolat Bureau of Intelligence) to look into this post haste!

Accept my humblest gratitude for the effort of agents on this assignment.
