babolat grips run large?

    i heard babolat grips run large? i'm comfortable with 4 3/8 on my prince, so what size grip should i get on bab? thanks.

    they indeed do, although some players might tell you they fit. i think it depends on the particular model, the older ones were true to size more than the new ones. i think you will be fine with 4 1/4 - L2, that it was me and rafael nadal would do but again that's just my opinion and other poster have their opinions too. good luck.

    Yes...they do run larger...somewhere in between 1/8 and 1/4 larger in my experience.

    I have two Pure Drives and with 41/2 grips. They are smaller than my Prince racquets which are also 41/2. In fact I had to build both Pure Drives up.

    I have used 4 different mfg 4 3/8 this summer.
    Prince was was the smallest 03 Tour
    Technifiber 315
    next was the Dunlop M-Fil 300
    and then Babolat Pure Drive which is the largest of the four

    I have played Babolat for 5 years. The older PD & PC's ran a little large. The new Aeropro series is definately true to size, but has a more Head like shape, very rectangular, as compared to the older more rounded grip Babolats.
