I've got it (17g) in my PureStorms and I like it. Just lively enough, pretty good feel, very good spin, very good control and enough power for me.

I just switched my daughter from ALU power to Hurricane Tour 17g in her Puredrives and she likes it better than the ALU. She says it has better "feel."

I used in the Pro Hurricane Tour 16 in the mains and prince softflex 16 in the crosses of my PDR+. This combo is prettg good. The hurricane is very crisp and my ball has more topspin, while the softflex is easier on the arm. The only downside of the hurricane is that it is a more difficult string job than other strings out there.

recently strung up one of my wilson n-six one 95 ncodes with pro hurricane tour 16, i have been an ardent big banger alu player. i figured id give the new bablolat strings a try and i must say im am very impressed. tenison is at 55 lbs, same as what i string the alu power at however the huricane tour provides much better feel and much more control. the hurricane tour provides a bit less power than the bb alu however i find that to be a plus for me. i can generate good power and a ridiculous amount of spin when needed and i was able to really let some huge forhand and backhands rip without fear of flying long....i just have much more fun playin with the pro hurricane tour as opposed to the big banger alu.

I dislike hurricane tour 17. I had TW put my new batch of pure storms all at 57, I should have tried a single set first. It had a really wierd feel, hard to explain, deffinetly the one of the most unique feeling polys you will ever try. I just couldnt deal with the wierd feel. And it had just as much spin an pop as my cyberflash. I would deffinetly use my cyberflash17/gosen 18 hybrid over this string.

This is our second go around with Hurricane Tour 17. Mains56/Crosses58. My junior likes it in his Aero Tour so I string what he likes (he changes his mind quite often). After experimenting with all the softer Polys It easy to remember why I personally dont like it. Its not my favorite string to string up. Its very stiff and screaches when pulling the crosses tight. It is though great for producing spin and has very good control in the Aero Tour. Not a bad string by any means but I personally think there are much better Polys that last longer and are more arm friendly.

I prefer SPPP or Polyon SP myself.

I wanna try a pro hurricane pro full string job. Did anyone have to string it a little lower than normal or stick with the same tension you've used? Does it have a bit of trampoline effect? From what I've been hearing, it seems like a good spin and control string. Thx.

From what I've tried it's great. I have it strung at 57 (tension on box is typo) and I get a lot of spin, pretty good control, and so far it's holding up really well; great purchase.

Tension holds well huh? Cool. Wonder other players had to lower their current tension with this pro hurr tour string.
