    Hi guys, im new here.
I bought the babolat propulse 3, the red one and it says it has a 6 month guaranteed(correct me if i am wrong) Does this mean that if the show is worn out before 6 months i can send them pictures of it and they will send me a new pair? This is my first time buying from tennis warehouse so i am not too sure. Thanks!XD

No, you fill out the warranty card that should have come with the shoes, and send the shoes to Babolat. In about a week or so, you'll receive another pair.

Okay, Lets just say i misplace my warranty card? Is there any other way i could replace my shoe? So it is safe to say that if i worn out my shoe before 6 months i am entitled to a new pair?

Well he may be waiting for a while, they won't be releasing anymore colours of Propulse 3's for the year.

When they get a new colourway it will be Propulse 4.

Can download the warranty card here:

    *** = h o l a b i r d

(if TW linked these cards, I wouldn't be posting this competitor...) :D

Might as well grab the PP2 blacks on sale? Same outsole, just different upper.

The propulse 4 is coming in 2013. Because the propulse 2 was from 2009-2011. Correcte me if I'm wrong.

    Hey Guys,

Bought a pair of pp3's recently and wondered whether when it comes to the 6 month outsole warranty Babolat would replace the shoes with another pair or would give me a refund. Plus, when I bought them I didn't get a warranty card and wondered if you have to have one to replace them (Im in the the UK)

Would like to hear more about people's luck with using aftermarket insoles to add some arch support.

I'm surprised not many people are talking about the lack of arch support.. My feet are relatively flat and I'd love to feel more support in these shoes. In the thread above, someone mentioned Spenco insoles, and somebody mentioned Superfeet.. I've never used aftermarket insoles, and would like to hear more about adding arch support. I recall when I was younger, I added a pair of "arch support" wedges under the stock insole. They're just little guys that slip right into the arch area under the stock insole.. Do they still make such a thing?

I use the PP2 and if they haven't changed the arch support on the pp3 then it's still pretty low. I use superfeet blue since I have low-med arches and I do overpronate on my left foot. They help out A LOT.

Not really. People with high arches should be using after-market insoles for any shoe. High arches = Superfeet green in whatever shoe you use. Factory insoles are useless.

6 month outsole means you mail the worn shoes to babolat and they send you another pair. You don't need the warranty card, just go to TW's "Customer Service" link, which gives you the details:

Be sure your outsole is worn through to the inner material. These are my Babolat's that Babolat replaced:

something like \/ this \/ black spot is necessary

^ is babolat pretty knicky picky about shoes when you send them into warranty? are they similar to nike where you just have to wear them down to the insole? or do they only qualify from excessive where? i drag my toes a lot so usually i get a hole before the outsole wears out.

Looking for another pair of shoes and have been really eyeing the propulse 3 and barricade 6's. which to choose

Babolat wasn't picky in my case, as although I had worn through the main outsole layer, the black spot you see exposed was not the insole... kind of the middle layer (soft rubber) between outsole and insole, but that was enough for me to get the replacements.

B6 definitely has a longer break-in, while the PP's have a more adjustable fit (I really like the footbelt tech), allowing for a more-perfect fit (which you can change on the fly as needed). Both grip the court well and have solid outsole durability, but again I prefer the Babolat rubber for both grip and durability overall too.

youre definitely right about the propulse's having a more perfect fit with the footbelt. Barricade 6's feel way more narrow than the barricade v's. maybe its cause theyre not broken in but my feet felt they were being squeezed. Tried on both and just left the pro shop with the propulse 3's in red .

    Hey all,

Just bought a pair of PP3 red... Wow. I'm a convert.

I've always been an Adidas guy tearing through barricades like it was my job.Next, I Bought a pair of the Nike Balistec 1.3s on a whim and stayed there. I was happy. Then they had to go change to the 2.3s. Talk about ouch. I beat the living heck out of mine to break them in and they still hurt when I put them on. Finally, I gave in and bought a pair of PP3s on a friend's recommendation. Wow. Just wow.

    A) they don't feel anywhere near 16.2 oz. I strapped them on and they felt very light
    B) Fit is fantastic. I have a typically wide foot and I was able to fit my normal 11.5 no problem. Comfortable as anything, like one of the previous posters in, they felt similar to an old pair of barricades I had. Didn't really need to break them in
    C) Hot Damn they look good
    D) I happened to play basketball with them my first time out and I literally stuck to the floor. These things are amazing on hard-wood. Similar experience on hard court-- fantastic traction on them although I've yet to really run them out hard.

Overall, I'm really happy so far-- my only worry is whether the durability will be up to par like many have been saying. I'm notorious for wearing through the bottoms and strangely enough the metatarsal area on top, of the left foot-- think ball of the foot, top side.
