I recently hit with the Babolat Pure Storm Tour Gt and was impressed with the stability and control. Being a long time Wilson user though the racquet
felt weird. It did not have much feel compared to my current
6.1 ncode. Is that normal with Babolat racquets? I am going to demo the blx soon.

Would like to hear your opinions on these racquets. I am baseliner
that relies on control and power when needed.

Ltd has better feel. Leather grip and it's also 95. Much lower powered than the 6.1 95. Awesome racquet though.

Ltd. has excellent feel. Very soft head though, so you really can feel it twitching upon impact, vibration dampener or not. The 18/20 stringbed is really tight, so if you like using spin it's not the frame for you. That's what made me drift away from the Plus version despite being one of the nicest sticks I had the pleasure to use.

Maybe I will try out the ltd.

Lukhas - do you mean the feel is what made you move away from the plus?

No. it's the ultra tight string pattern. The feel is good if you like soft, flexible heads that twist upon impact. It really feels nice. But I couldn't manage to put enough spin with it despite being strung with RPM Blast. Although it was a 16 gauge. If you like spin, you should try it with with thinner strings, like 17 or even 18 gauge stuff.

Lead at 12 gives power. Lead at 3&9 gives stability. Not that putting it at 12 is a bad idea since it isn't a powerful frame to begin with.
