my babolat pd roddick+ is gripped 5/8 and its too big for me and i heard you can take out the orginial grip and put in a those plastic grip and you heat it on with a blow dryer, the only question i have is does it still have the same with the replacement grip on but just smaller?

If you're talking about shrinkwrapping the handle...that will INCREASE the grip size. You're only way of shrinking the grip size would be shaving down the grip...and these days its not easy (you can't do it on many modern rackets).

putting on a "replacement grip" is the same thing as putting back on the original. it is a "replacement" of the original. they are the exact same size. it is almost impossible to make a grip smaller, you can only make them larger. you could try just putting on an overgrip, but that will probably be too hard and will cause blisters. i highly recommend getting a 4 1/2.

shrinkwrap will increase the grip size no matter WHAT. Wouldn't putting a replacement grip instead of the original grip be just the same as the original grip (maybe the replaement grip is thinner), but with the shrinkwrap, there would be no difference, it'll still be bigger.
