Does anyone know where this string went? Babolat took it out of production as far as I know and I haven't found the "replacement" yet...Maybe I'm just not looking hard enough.

It was a textured synthetic gut. Not too expensive, nice cross string.

Thanks for the quick reply and suggestion. I think I've played with the super spin. It's got a colored core with a clear outer? If I remember correctly Super spin is a bit more "sticky" than the Razor spin I've used.

THe Razor Spin was not a very durable string. In fact one set I had broke on the machine while the other lasted one outing. I guess it cuts into itself. Overall playability is OK. I would suggest the Prince Topspin Plus 16 because it has a nice soft feel.

Razor Spin was a poor replacement of Super Fine Play Rough. I was glad Babolat ended production on this poor string. It does, indeed, cut into itself easily. It was a silver & black string...

Yeah. I have a few sets left of it. I didn't find it to be horrible as a cross string with poly. It was nice and slick while stringing. I also have sets of super fine play, it doesn't seem comparable. Dunno, I haven't played either string extensively.

Yes, I tried it once and it lasted no time.
