Seem to be mixed reviews. But i am very curious so i may get a set and try it. Some say Pro Hurr tour is far superior and some say it is stiff but Solid poly.
I am thinking Wozniaki likes the string then maybe i will like it too ?? she used to be all Gut..

I had been using thus stuff for some time until recently. It was a great string on my aerogel 4d 18x20. Actually string at 60 &62, it's my string of choice. Great ball pocketing, spin and control. Now using my custom technifibre 320 which is 16x19. This is a different story. I like the string, but not as much as kirchbaum competition. I don't expect much feel from the denser patterns , but still no feel or touch when using in The more open technifibre. I would have to string in mid low 50's which would kill my control. In short; for big baseliners, looking for a no touch/feel string with great control and Spin thus is a must try. Serve and volley guys probably won't like it. It's easy to string/ hard to tie off. Hybrids with gut didn't help either.

Hi James...correct analysis, Revenge is a string conceived for baseliner power hitters w/ denser string pattern sticks. Safe AND powerful when needed, but being a statically stiff string, not a good choice for S&V/touch players.
BTW have you ever tried Polystar Turbo on your 320?

Hello Eiffel, good to read you agree with me on this. I know nothing about polystar strings. I may actually have a set of energy at home? Not sure. Does it have good control? The 320 ISA great stick, I'm still getting used to the pencil eraser sized sweet spot. Let me know more about polystar.

Polystar Turbo and Energy are made of the same materials, only difference between them being the external wave-like finish of the Turbo (11 micro "waves").
This shape give exceptional spin/speed/touch capability to the string but shorten his lifespan, too...however, being quite on the "reactive" side, you can use slighly thicker gauges to make it last longer (I do use 1.25 instead of 1.20 in full poly jobs with this one)

    Hope this helps

used it the other day, wasn't impressed due to lack of power. I felt like the control was all there but that you have to provide more than usual.

And i just dont know if its really suitable as a good main string. It just seems like it just really lets you know what you know what your playing with, if you know what i mean.

Some NICE comments from TW customers.....

Comments: I like it! You don't have to string it lower like a luxilon string. Crisp and comfortable.
From: Cooper, New York, USA. 08/09

Comments: Better than Pro Hurricane Tour Hands down...Better than luxilon..Very Durable.

  23. Is that where you play? That's cool never played there, but been to balboa many times of course. But I could mail you a set if you wanted, I dunno when I would get down there.

I just know you post on here a lot, so it would be cool if you wanted to give people your thoughts on the revenge, so if you want a set I can send you one no problem.

PolyStar has made a new Energy that holds tension and is more durable that it was in the past.

    Fedace,

The guy is just trying to be nice by giving only YOU a choice coil of string but rather than saying, "Thank you very much and that's very kind of you.." you sort of diss the guy in return by snubbing him. Be nice, yeah?

Hey, I'd be glad to take it off your hands for you and post a nice review; I'll even pay for postage. You won't have to twist my arm like you do with Fedace. ;-)

    Initial hit

Hit a few balls with revenge 16 yesterday ,pretty stiff at 58 in apdc, like full lux better so far. I'm gonna let it settle in and try again later this week.

^^ could be alot better, could be alot worse

Its in the medium in my opinion. PLII , my current string provides more spin than Revenge.
