It's for window decoration, would be worth a trip down to the local window shop, you'll more than likely find a great deal on some lead.

It may not be the most adhesive lead, if you know how much you want to use and exactly where you want it all you need is some glue

Then there is 0% chance of it coming off

If your point is that lead is placed under the bumper for safety-- that does not follow. Lead under the bumper over being at 3&9 is a weight distribution change.

I meant those who place it @ 12 or 10&2 o'clock, stuff it under bumper nowadays. But maybe you're right, it's not really for safety reasons...

Tried the tungsten tape for the past few weeks. I'm all for lead alternatives with a baby in the house, but not a big fan- the adhesive does not work well- lost 2 strips when swinging, and although the tape is 3x heavier than gamma lead tape per inch, it's also twice as thick, so take that into account.

Anyone tried this - http://www.tecnifibre.com/en/Product/Accessories/Racket-accessories/Lead-Tape/190? Going to try that next.

Got some the other day. Doesn't stick well. Mostly just comes off. First 3" piece I used wouldn't even stick to the racket, a waste. so you might have to lay it onto double-sided tape, trim, and THEN attach to the frame. And I'd hit the frame with alcohol where attaching.

I'll stick with lead. And with the nuke plants in Japan (TW actually edits out the name of the city!!! Completely absurd) going "completely out of control", according to the company running it, we gotz lotz bigger worries than lead tape.....

Waste of money as the stuff does not stick to the frame. The two 3" pieces I put on flew off from some simple air swings and when I knocked my hand against the string bed.

I got some of the Babolat Tungsten tape from TW when it was available.

I can confirm that the adhesive doesn't work very well; it seemed like it stuck to the frame at first, but didn't hold up under playing conditions.

I wouldn't even bother with that, you can get about 400 FT of lead tape from the big auction site for about $18 shipped.

It is a shame that this tape does not work long term. It was so easy to work with...
