I bought a Babolat PD OS 2 weeks ago and played with it 4 times. Last week I noticed that there was a tiny hairline fracture at the 9 o'clock position. I showed it to several people including a pro. Half said that they thought it was only a crack in the paint and the other half said that they thought it was something more. I played with it 2 more times since then and the crack has grown in size and is noticeably different in shape. The pro that I spoke with told me that I wouldn't have any luck returning a racquet to Babolat because they always refuse racquet returns and blame any breaks or cracks on "racquet abuse" He says that this has happened on every racquet he has sent back to them. He feels very certain that they do this in all cases regardless of what actually happened. I spent $150.00 for the racquet and never "abused" it in any way. I don't throw or drop my racquets and I never bang the racquet on the netcord. Does anyone her have any experience with returning a racquet to Babolat? If I spend $150.00 on a racquet and take good care of it, there is no reason why they should not replace it. The racquet has had Wilson head tape on it since it was purchased and has nothing other than a few tiny scratches.
