Also, on the off chance that Fish or Djokovic pull out before their first match, my pick would be Nadal or Berdych over Tipsarevic and/or Almagro in 2 sets.

My suggestions for the group names just off the top of my head,

    The Marty McFly Group

    The McLovin Group

Just a reminder - ANYONE CAN PLAY THIS THING. Anyone! As always, even gj011 (May he troll in peace) is allowed back for the WTF!

I already made the images for The Judy Murrays (kish, LCY, dcdoo, aphex) and Fluffy Bunnies: Redux (the rest of you). :(

If your group members really want to be Marty McFly/McLovin, I can totally change that.. it's not like I put in a lot of effort.

Ok, here are my thoughts on the bonus. Option B is more tricky for each individual pick, but option A makes you be right on every one of 3x as many picks. I'm not convinced that informed guesses will even be right 1% of the time for either one.

Very rough, imprecise math for guestimation purposes only: Option A, assume 70% chance of being right on each individual pick, then chance of being right on all 15: 0.7^15 = .0047, or 0.47%. Assume 35% chance of being right on each individual option B pick, then chance of being right on all: 0.35^5= .0052, or 0.52% chance. Honestly I think both the 70% and 35% #s are optimistic if anything, although obviously in reality some picks will have higher or lower %s than others.

They are comparable as far as difficulty imo, so that's nice, but I'm thinking the chances of being right on either is somewhere in the vicinity of 1 in 200, at best.

What he means to say is that the available options are rather improbable and that that would call for a couple of easier alternatives.

I know it's difficult, but ... I don't really see the need to make it easier. IMO and all that. Thank you for ze stats.

I'll have you know I'm a pescatarian - so unless you're a really fishy man, well...

Yeah it's fine if you guys meant to make the bonus options that difficult, I just wasn't sure if that was the intent. I was just trying to point out how long the odds are for them in my estimation.

Yeah, it's a shot in the dark thing. But there are 15 points available w/o the bonus and while the regular rounds aren't super easy, they're not very difficult. That's the equivalent of a Masters win plus three more. Next year, I'll change the first question back to 1.5 points for each prediction - getting both right is too difficult. Or perhaps 1 point if you get one of the two right, 3 if you get both right.

If you do everything right including the bonus, you could have as many points as a slam win. Obviously, that's not likely, but it's still possible to get points and what not.

Looks like those that picked Murray as a W or RU pick might be screwed since he might pull out of the event.

File is updated, but I shall post fluffy bunnies and judy murrays and other images tomorrow because I'm busy. Really. Sort of. Fine, lazy.

    League File (HTML)

    Round Robin Two

    General League:

    1. [6] J Tsonga (FRA) vs [8] M Fish (USA)
    2. [2] R Nadal (ESP) vs [4] R Federer (SUI)
    3. [1] N Djokovic (SRB) vs [5] D Ferrer (ESP)
    4. [3] A Murray (GBR) vs [7] T Berdych (CZE)

    Elite Eight:

Predict the player with the most aces in this round and the player who’ll lose the least amount of games. Can be the same player for both predictions. (1.5 points per correct prediction)

(In the first round, there was a 3 way tie for most aces (Jo, Berdych, Fish). Ferrer lost the least amount of games.) Judy Murrays have a 6 point lead over the Fluffy Bunnies: Redux at this point. Maybe they should change their name. :(
